This Super Cub looks like the real thing and comes ready to fly (RTF) with everything that you need to teach yourself how to be a pilot.
It includes a battery pack for the plane, batteries for the transmitter and an instructional video and manual.
Anti-Crash TechnologyTM
With HobbyZone's revolutionary anti-crash technology (ACT) the Super Cub makes learning to fly a 3 channel airplane easier and safer than ever before.
Two sensors on the fuselage, one on the top and one on the bottom, monitor the position of the plane in relation to the ground.
When the plane is flying level, the top sensor sees the sky while the bottom sensor sees the ground, and they tell the onboard computer (receiver) that the plane is flying correctly.
If the plane enters a severe dive, the sensors detect the change in orientation and react to the danger.
The software in the receiver will then temporarily cut the motor, and correct the severe angle and pitch of the plane. This causes the nose to come up and pulls the plane out of the dive to help prevent the plane from crashing.
The pilot is then able to regain control. If pilots are flying correctly and do not put the plane into a severe dive situation while ACT is engaged, they will have complete control of the plane's flight pattern.
Once you have gained a higher level of confidence and experience, you can switch the ACT off. With this increased manoeuvrability, seasoned pilots can engage other pilots in aerial combat or even perform loops.
3-Channel system
A new pilot to RC can explore the higher performance offered by a 3-channel system thanks to the ACT technology.
The third channel allows for pitch control so that pilots can make tighter turns and have a wider range of manoeuvres, as well as the option to make pitch trim adjustments while the plane is in the air.
X-Port for Extra Fun
For extra fun and excitement, the Super Cub comes standard with an innovative X-Port that lets you add exciting optional plug-in accessories like the Sonic Combat Module and Aerial Drop Module and Night Flight Mode (all sold separately).

All UK versions of the Super Cub do not have a mains charger but do include a fast charging variable rate DC (car) charger.
The 3-channel Super Cub is ideal for beginners and expert pilots allowing them to select the level of control they feel is best given their flying skills.
